Position Summary
The Global Investor Relations (IR) Sales Internship offers Summer Interns the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting Carlyle's fundraising efforts across both the Global Wealth and Institutional channels. Interns become active members of the IR team, collaborating with Sales, Product, Operations, and Strategy professionals support capital-raising, deepen investor relationships, and drive value for our limited partners globally. The 10-week program includes professional development opportunities such as networking opportunities, lunch & learns, and senior leader mentorship.
Responsibilities
• Support capital raising initiatives by preparing client-specific marketing materials, pitch decks, reporting packages, and roadshow briefs.
• Research and analyze wealth management platforms, family offices, institutional investors, and consultants to identify new fundraising opportunities and competitive positioning.
• Assist with due diligence processes, investor servicing, conference preparation, and CRM (DealCloud) management, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking and effective relationship management.
• Partner with internal teams to provide timely responses to client requests and to communicate portfolio and market updates.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects such as conference coordination, data room requests, and fundraising support across Carlyle's business segments.
Qualifications
• Current undergraduate student (graduating Spring 2027) with a preferred GPA of 3.5+.
• Prior internship(s) in financial services recommended.
• Highly ethical, team-oriented, driven and adaptable with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong attention to detail.
Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York, NY, and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated monthly rate for this role is $7,000-$7,500.
